Classes in Kathak style are conducted at Maneesha Nrityalaya throughout the year. (No short term courses are conducted). Special training courses are available for foreigners.
Twice a week for one hour. Elementary level training by staff teachers. Intermediate and senior level classes are conducted by Shambhavi Vaze. The students appear for the examinations of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya every alternate year. Normally, the Graduation course called ‘Nritya Visharad’ takes 12 years to complete. (like graduation in any other field.)
Special classes are conducted for foreign students who want to learn Kathak for a particular time duration. The training is on one-to-one basis. Conducted by Shambhavi Vaze or her staff, as per the availability.
